Curtain Rods
Kirsch's white traverse curtain rods and curtain hardware.
Curtain rods have long-wearing, stretch-resistant, attractively finished, braided nylon cord with fiberglass core resists abrasion. Continuous cord lacing allows cords to be used at either end of the rod without complex adjustment. And also allows use of a cord tension pulley that keeps cords from becoming twisted.
Angled profile of Superfine Rods allow headings to stand erect. Rodding is roll-formed of .021 heavy-gauge steel. Traverse curtain rods are made to exact tolerances so they fit precisely, telescope easily, facilitate slide movement. Rod set includes rod, brackets, cord tensioner, and installation instructions.
Top quality, baked enamel finish, on the inside and outside of rod sections, prevents corrosion. Curtain rod edges are rounded and deburred. Then, all sliding surfaces are coated with a special baked on Teflon-S lubricant which facilitates easy operation and reduces wear.
Kirsch's best curtain traverse rods come in a variety of sizes to fit almost any window. Standard draw curtain rods are available in lengths from 30" to 180". Two way draws or one way draws are available in single or double rod sets.
In 1928, Kirsch introduced the world's first, flat, adjustable curtain traverse rod. Probably no other product impacted so strongly on our industry. Draw draperies were no longer an expensive luxury, but found a place in ordinary homes. Throughout the intervening years, Kirsch has continued to refine and improve traverse curtain rod design. Small wonder this product is often imitated, but never duplicated.
