  Be sure to specify left or right stair brackets when you place your order.   The photo below shows how to determine left and right stair brackets.  An easy reminder, right brackets point to the right, left etc...  Measure the horizontal length of the stair and vertical rise to determine size of stair bracket needed.  Century provides both small and large versions of each stair bracket.
